Church of Saint Stephen - Sant Esteve

The church was built in the twelfth century,he best preserved part is the header, where the apse is the biggest of all the Romanesque in Andorra. 

On  the north wall a small apse, which was originally covered with murals.Currently they are in the National Art Museum of Catalonia.

Fairy Tale

The promenade is covered with a Japanese cherry tree and flower, it is like in a fairy tale. this is Central Park of Andorra la Vella.

Calcot is a variety of green onion, prepared so it is baked in the fire on barbecue until it turns black, then pull the middle and then dip into salsa-salvitxada  (  yam yamy) It's so tasty. That is gastronomical popular event in Catalonia called Calçotada. Calcot season is from January to April ...

...Under Super Full Moon

Soldeu, it was magical to see the mountains covered with snow under a Super Full Moon. Light in  the of the mountain are the machines that prepare the pistes  for new  day . :)))

Work before the tunnel of Encamp. Andorra is quite rocky :))), so sometimes we must remove the "little" rock because  want road there :))) , Andorans are good at it, as you can see, no matter where it, they always finds a way of working.

Maybe not interesting to someone else, but to me it was, respect from drivers to pedestrians. Where there are no traffic lights, pedestrians crossing pedestrian pat , relaxed and without checking a lot car coming or not .

Gym

Andorra is like a little paradise for the practice different  sports. Mountains, free climbing, trail running .... Each parish has a sports centre, and offers various kinds of sports .... this is in Encamp. It's really pleasure use all the  offers :))), squash, gym, swim, aquafitnes,karate, tennis....

The day after  fog and snow...

Fog

Yesterday in the cabin lift from Ecamp to Funicamp. I was alone, around me it was all white, the fog. For me, a totally new experience, (I got a little scared, well I was alone : O) as in the sci-fi movies. Silence, the whiteness, oh my happiness when I saw and photographed this second cabin, : D otherwise the view is like this...

The sculptures

A small square, more like a garden of building, there are several fascinating sculpture, in the second picture, the middle and left  sculpture by JaumePlensa. I saw on the internet about  his other works, breathtaking. Sculpture in the shape of the balls have humans face, which is almost realistic. I could't decide which photograph to publish so that I publish the two photos. Can be found here - carrer Prat de la Creu  (about) 52 nd.

Entrance in the Pyrenees, and if you going to Andorra, means that you are very close:))) ,after rock just straith a little more.....

 Window in Ordino,  like this typical stone house with that details on window, otherwise I always enjoy a walk through the Ordino, an authentic place that make you feel like in a fairy tale.
